Hello! I'm Enkai, a character artist based in Sabah, Malaysia. I enjoy creating colourful D&D and fantasy-esque illustrations that includes making vibrant characters. My art style and subjects can be flexible when needed. Primarily, I post on Bluesky now. All information needed about my Art Services will be put here below.

COMMISSION PROCEDURE

HOW TO BUY

Ensure that you've read the Terms of Service and Refund Policy on the website.
Fill out our commission's Google Form here. (only for Personal use).
The primary payment method will be through PayPal.
Once submission is read, you'll be contacted about the commission information to confirm.
An invoice will be sent for payment once the thumbnail is finalized. You can check for progression updates here.
All payment above $50 can be paid in half as a deposit. Invoice will be sent before we finalise the art. Aside that, under $50 commissions needs to be paid in full.
Once everything is settled and finished, the art will be sent to you in full resolution via a Google Drive link.

WAIST UP

Animal/ Small Companions +$30 (USD)

Chibi, Character Sheet, Accessories, etc can be requested in the form and have the price discuused beforehand.

PAYMENT INFO

Payments are usually via Paypal. Prices in MYR (RM) are only applicable for local Malaysians via local bank transfers like PBE, Maybank or CIMB etc.

Any more additional or customized pricing will be discussed first before the invoice is sent on Paypal.
For MYR rates, the average I've put on my prices are USDx3 and sometimes lower than the number. (eg: 30usd=RM90). Diskaun harga utk org kita ya~

PROGRESS UPDATE

You can look at our current workload, keep up with the status of your commissioned art progress in our site.

Any progress that needs revision will be contacted via email/discord (based on your preferred contact method).

Once the form is responded, and further discussion is made, an invoice will be sent. You can pay in half deposit for commission above $50.

THUMBNAIL
APPROVAL

Several thumbnail ideas will be sketched to be approved in this stage. I will continue the commission with the approved sketch.

LINEWORK &
COLOURING

I will inquire frequently during this process before I start rendering.

REVISIONS

Before the commission is completed, I can do two more revisions and add missed details.

FINISHED
WORK

I will notify and send you a preview of the finalised work. If you paid half in deposit, I will send you the other half of the invoice.

A google drive link of the full sized .png will be sent after.

DOs & DONTs

I draw :

Characters; Humans, humanoids, anthros, monsters and animal companions.
Light NSFW that isn’t full nude. Blood is fine.
Any kinds of original character, self ship or canon ships.
Simple background; patterned, sceneries.
Real people. Just understand that I don't draw people realistically.
People of any ages in canon.
Nature backgrounds, plants and flowers.

I don't draw:

Delulu art of your crushes. (Apply to irl people only not self ship)
Full nude Not Safe For Work art and major gore.
Hate speech, discrimination against groups of people and designs that are inappropriate in theme.
More than 4 people in a group of art.
Incestual ships, minor x minor ships being inappropriate in theme.
Aging up canonically children characters.
Complex mechanical designs, detailed buildings.

Terms of Service

Updated (15/1/25): Under Copyright Usage ii, Commissioned works are not allowed to be used for training generative A.I and blockchain services.

By purchasing a commission from me (the artist) you agree to be purchasing my services only. If you have a problem with any of the below conditions, they may be changed if discussed with me prior to paying for your commissioned piece.

General Terms

I will only accept commissions applied through the commission form.
Character references are required.
I have the right to reject any order for any reason.
I have the right to use the artwork as commission examples, record the process and upload them to promote my page and post on social media.

Revisions

Per commission before finalisation, up to 3 revisions can be made.
If there is a misinterpretation in the artwork from the provided reference, and was failed to be corrected during the process, I will charge you a fee to change it. The amount of the extra charge depends on the change you want me to make based on an hourly wage.

Payment

Prices are subject to change based on demand.
The currencies accepted are USD and MYR (Malaysian locals only). All payments via PayPal or Bank Transfers (MYR & local only).
Don't send me any payment before I have agreed to give you a slot and requested you to send me the payment.
Deposit ($50 & below) or Full Payment first after invoice is sent. Commissions can be paid either 100% upfront or split 50% upfront and 50% after sketch approval.

I, Enkai IX (the artist):

I reserve the right to cancel and refund the order at any time for any reason.
I retain all copyrights over the commissioned artwork.
I will NOT claim the intellectual property (IP) of the commissioned artwork (your characters are still yours).
I will NOT profit further from the commissioned artwork.
I reserve the right to post the commissioned artwork online, in my portfolio, youtube and within any socials.

Process and Delivery

The time it takes to finish your commission varies 1 week - 2 months depending on factors such as health, the complexity of the commissioned piece, and access to art tools.
Steps from sketches to rendering phases will be sent for approvals.
Once the piece is finished, you will received the artwork in full resolution (usually .PNG and 300dpi) via google drive link for you to download.

The buyer :

You may upload the commissioned artwork on any website and social channels.
You may NOT make profits from the commissioned piece (reselling, redistributing, uploading to POD-services, making prints for selling, etc.)
You may NOT alter the commissioned artwork without my (the artist's) consent.
You retain the rights to the intellectual property (IP).
You may NOT use the commissioned artwork for commercial purposes.
You may not use the commissioned artwork for any blockchain service, i.e NFTs.
You may not use the commissioned artwork or any artwork from me to train generative AI models and programs.

REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY

Full Refund

If you cancel your order before I started it, you can get a full refund.
If you choose to cancel the commission after payment, within the criteria of a two (2) month delay and process only completed until line art phase, you'll be given a full refund that is exclusive but not limited to the personal circumstances.
Please do not request a Paypal chargeback. The money will be transferred to you back in full.
If you request a Paypal chargeback at any point when you were not allowed to ask for a refund, you will lose all before mentioned rights to the commissioned piece and I will have the full right to profit further from it in any way.
I will decline the chargeback and supply Paypal with our conversations in which we talk about the commission as evidence that I have completed work for you. Furthermore, you will be blacklisted for commissioning me again.

Partial Refund

Applied to terms above, client may decidedly get a partial refund in correlation to the work that has yet to be completed based on the commission ordered, exclusive but not limited to the client's particular circumstances.
If the refund is requested during/after the flat coloured phase (as Rendered Commission), 30-50% of the full refund will be returned to client based on what's been completed.

No Refund

Once the commission is in the final phase and has been approved /completed, no refunds can be offered.
If the client finds some dissatisfaction with the completed commission, revisions will be offered.
